We've got a new pediatrician for Ashton and he is great. We've been to the Dr every week since birth due to some circumcision complications. We just went to his 3 week appointment and everything is looking great. Ashton has gained a little bit of weight and is now at 7lbs 3ozs and has grown 1 3/4" which is a lot apparently! He is only in the 10% for his weight and in the 50% for his length. He is pretty much in line with his two older brothers, so it looks like we are going to have some tall and skinny kiddos.
We've all adjusted well with the addition and Ashton is sleeping really well. He went 6 and 7 hours straight 2 nights in a row!! I even slept the whole time, but had to do a double take at the clock and count the hours, both nights. Most of the time he only goes about 4-5 hours until he's ready to eat again. I'm sure some people are reading this with a "GASP" but that's ok. With #3, it's on demand!! Ashton tells me when he needs something and that's no joke either. We have awake time in the evenings so that Asher and Aden can sit and talk with him. It's pretty sweet. Aden has been trying to show Ashton how to High-5. Asher has been singing lullaby's and calls Ashton "little froggy" and rarely by his name.
Stephen was out of town Sunday through Wednesday (today) which was the first time since Ashton's birth. I know that I can not compare it to being a single parent, but when it's just you.....it's just you! I didn't get much done besides the normal picking up. Of course the boys take naps and I was so looking forward to that. Except those were the times that Ashton would be awake for feedings. Bedtime was a little bit earlier for those 3 nights!
