New Buyer, New Contract, New Closing

The first offer/contract fell through on the 9th. We were back on the market for 6 days when we received the new offer! We are set to close on January 13th. Won't that be a nice way to start out the new year?! We hope that it all works out and we'll keep everyone posted.

Prayer Request

We found out last night that my cousin Matthew Hicks, Mark’s brother, was murdered around 4AM Monday morning. A lot of the details of the incident are still unclear. We do know that Matt knew the guy that shot him and that he is in custody. Matt’s girlfriend was with him when the incident took place at the suspects home. Matt was an amazing guy, he was only 32 years old, a Navy Seal and still on active duty. He was living in Virginia Beach and working out of the Washington DC area.

In January 2000 Mark lost his oldest brother to a battle with leukemia, he was 30 when he passed. Mark still has his brother Jay, 35, who lives close by.

Please pray for the Everett Hicks, Sr. Family as well as the Burkhardt extended family.
