I had my first sonogram this morning and got to see the baby. Heartbeat is strong, 140 bpm. Due date is still looking like March 11th. My blood work came back from the lab good. No signs of problems with my liver panel that was run. Dr says that we'll do the next sonogram around 20 weeks to look at anatomy and to determine boy or girl! Pretty neat that it will fall in October right around Asher's birthday. We will continue the sonograms about every 4 weeks after that to keep an eye on the baby's growth. Just as a precaution since Asher was so small. Dr does think that his low birth weight is most likely due to the high blood pressure and liver problems, but still wants to watch for slow growth with this pregnancy.
